Cibercrime combatido por hackers na Coreia do Sul
O governo sul-coreano vai lutar contra o cibercrime que se faz sentir no país formando seis hackers que combaterão as frequentes ameaças à segurança cibernética.
O Ministério da Economia e Conhecimento de Seul informou hoje que foi criado o programa "Melhor dos Melhores" para selecionar os seis hackers nos quais investirá 1,32 milhões de euros.
Todos os candidados são estudantes do ensino secundário e universitário, e já foram selecionados 60 entre 138 "piratas disponíveis".
Os seis hackers que forem escolhidos, terão direito a uma bolsa de estudo de cerca de 14 mil euros, a oportunidade de estudar no estrangeiro, assim como entrar na base de dados de recursos humanos da Agência Nacional de Informações e da polícia sul-coreanas.
A justificação para a criação deste programa foi dada pelo diretor do Instituto de Tecnologias de Informação da Coreia do Sul, Yoo Jun-sang, porque a "Coreia do Sul carece de recursos humanos suficientes em segurança" para prevenir ataques informáticos, segundo apurou o diário Dong-a Ilbo.
